Crown Cup started as a single project for my University degree. I had no idea it would keep going after that, but season after season it has grown into a proper tournament brand with a real audience behind it.

The crown came first. Around it I built a system that could be reused every season, with a colour palette, typography, match graphics, player reveal banners and social templates, so each new season could expand without losing its identity.

Watching it outgrow the brief has been the most rewarding part of the whole thing. Players now recognise the look straight away, the team behind it has grown, and it reaches fans far outside the University, which is far more than I ever expected from an assignment.
